"Echoed Vacancy"

              For the next step of my research i looked at the objects that emigrants took with them. What was left behind or the space left in their home where these items once stood. Communicating through emails and photographs with emigrants helped me to do this. Then collaborating these many items from individuals to make one abstract form, i subtracted the form from the card which it was drawn onto and i then drew the object on the next piece of card, in a slightly smaller size and repeated the process. Each layer of 3D drawing represents the passing of time and the vacant pass which is left behind.
