It's ironic that i have recently discovered a pattern in my work, the pattern which involves my fascination with pattern! These prints were made when i was exploring the world of Irish Superstitions, the bird appears time and time again in these superstitions, hence the repeat pattern. For example a robin trapped in ones house is a superstition that someone in the family will soon die! Not as sweet as the thought of a robin suggests.
